Poor Heidi wound up in animal control to deliver her last ever litter of puppies! She's now ready to find her own home and a special person! Heidi is a 'velcro' dog - never more than a few feet from her person, the closer the better. She loves to snuggle in the chair or bed with her human. She is housebroken and does best if put on a leash and taken out, even if there is a fenced yard - the leash helps her focus on her business!. Heidi is very food motivated and can be very vocal around feeding time. She does well with other dogs, but seems a bit too interested in cats. Heidi is a very smart girl! She has shown that she can open a door handle and a dog food canister all by herself. Heidi is small for a boxer mix - she weighs 50 lbs and is smaller in stature than most boxers would be.Heidi is also very strongly interested in cats, so a feline-free home is going to be best for her!Heartworm Information:Heidi is Heartworm positive. Adopters should discuss heartworm protocols with their veterinarian to determine treatment.
